Helping families build healthier, safer lives.\nThrough access to safe water, sanitation, healthier homes, and health education, the Healthy Families Program helps families overcome some of the most common barriers associated with multidimensional poverty in southern Honduras.<\/p>\n

Results<\/h4>\n

1,089 households<\/h4>\n

Gained access to safe water.<\/p>\n

Received improved flooring for healthier living conditions.<\/p>\n

510 Eco-stoves<\/h4>\n

Installed to provide safer and cleaner cooking environments.<\/p>\n

Improved access to sanitation solutions, including latrines, showers, and hygiene facilities.<\/p>\n

Living in poverty is about more than income. Many families in southern Honduras face daily challenges related to access to clean water, safe sanitation, adequate housing, and healthy living conditions.<\/p>\n

The Healthy Families Program addresses these barriers through practical, community-based solutions that improve health, safety, and overall quality of life.<\/p>\n

Today, the program reaches more than 2,700 households and nearly 10,000 people across communities in the departments of Choluteca and Valle.<\/p>\n
