Building stronger communities in southern Honduras
Fundación Agrolíbano was established in 2010 as an expression of Grupo Agrolíbano’s belief that no company can succeed in a struggling community.
What began as a commitment to neighboring communities has evolved into a long-term effort to reduce multidimensional poverty across southern Honduras. Today, we work alongside children, families, schools, and community leaders to create opportunities through education, health, family well-being, and community development.

Children at the center
Children are at the heart of our model. We strengthen the connections between families, schools, and communities to support their development.

Guided by evidence
We use the Multidimensional Poverty Index (MPI) to identify the barriers families face and focus resources where they are needed most.

Addressing root causes
Our programs target the conditions that drive poverty, helping families overcome the challenges identified through the MPI.

Building community leadership
We strengthen local leadership and community capacity so families can create lasting change from within.
